Look out, it’s Outlook. And I do mean “Look out!
August 20, 2008
Outlook has become the de facto standard as an email client whether it deserves this ranking or not. It is far from perfect and can be down right frustrating to deal with at times but it syncs with just about every Smart Phone out there so we’re kind of stuck with it. Since I attend to Outlook’s quirks quite often in my daily work life, I chose to hightlight and teach a handful of items for newbie Outlook users in my continuing free video series.
For the everyday computer user who may have not used Outlook before and for those who just started with Outlook little while ago, I’ve put together some pretty cool “resource” videos just for my buds based on frequently asked questions.
I carefully call them “resource” videos because they are more of getting started-type videos plus a handful of tidbits and other related stuff that I think you’ll find useful. My videos primarily address Outlook 2003 because that is what most everyday computer users still use but, don’t worry, I will be adding videos covering Outlook 2007 soon. The instructions using Outlook 2007 will be similar to the options in Outlook 2003, they’ll just be found in different places which is typical of Microsoft product versioning.
I will show you how to setup Outlook for email and such, along with showing you a few helpful options. As usual, my presentation will be low on Techno-speak. It will be just some very brief, basics that most of my clients have asked to know.
Additionally, I’ll show you a way to bring your old Outlook file over to your new computer in a few easy steps. I’ll address how to fix Outlook when it breaks because it does break from time to time.
These videos are FREE to you for a limited time. So please enter your name and email address in the boxes below and I will share with you this valuable resource immediately. So do it now!
As a bonus, I’ll provide list of related products that I’ve setup for my clients, that I really like…some you may have heard of and some other cool ones you may not have. This is a super valuable bonus drawn from my many years of experience finding out what works and what doesn’t for you, the everyday computer user.
